USPA NEWS - Kingdom of Morocco is overwhelmed, as the country is mourning their (over t2o thousands deaths), losses and keeps receiving condolences, from all over the world, as brotherly and friendly gestures, since yesterday, 9/9/23, where a tragic quaked shaken the land, in that High Mountains, of this so beloved country by the worldwide tourists. Indeed, Morocco is one of the favorite spot for tourist to travel to, placing this country, above the top ranked spot for visitors, not only for tourism (10,9 Million in 2022) but also for business investment and shooting films.
The Sovereign expressed the Kingdom of Morocco's most sincere thanks to the many brotherly and friendly countries who have expressed their solidarity with the Moroccan people in this difficult situation and several of whom have expressed their availability to provide help and assistance in these particular circumstances. Amongst theses, countries, so far, The United States of America, Oman, Bahrein, Japan and France (Offered to the Moroccan local officials to give an aid of 2€M), who expressed officially their condolences and offered assistance in the filed to find victims of the earthquake, a strong wave of solidarity.

MFA’S JAPAN HAYASHI YOSHIMASA OFFERS CONDOLENCES TO THE KINGDOM OF MOROCCO FOLLOWING THE DAMAGES CUASED BY EARTHQUAKE READY TO PROVIDE ALL POSSIBLE ASSISTANCE TOKYO, Japan, September 10, 2023/ -- On September 9, regarding the damage caused by the earthquake disaster in the central part of the Kingdom of Morocco, Mr. HAYAHI Yoshimasa, Foreign Minister of Japan, delivered the following message of condolences to H. E. Mr. Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates of the Kingdom of Morocco. “I am deeply grieved and saddened to learn, immediately after our meeting in Cairo a few days ago, that many precious lives were lost and many people were affected in the earthquake disaster in the central part of the Kingdom of Morocco. I would like to express my heartfelt condolences to those who lost their lives, and my sympathies are with their bereaved families. FRENCH MINISTRY FOREIGN AFFAIRS OFFERS A €2 M AID TO THE VICTIMS OF EARTHQUAKE OF MOROCCO TO SUPPORT SOLIDARITY ACTIONS OVER EARTHQUAKE IN MOROCCO September 9, 2023 “The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs is activating, at the request of Minister Catherine Colonna, the external action fund for local authorities in order to support solidarity actions which will be deployed in agreement with the Moroccan authorities for the benefit of populations affected by the earthquake. Already, several local authorities have approached the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs for an amount of aid of nearly two million euros (€ 2M). In addition, many French companies have informed the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of their intention to contribute financially or in kind to the support that France will provide to the victims of the earthquake, in agreement with the Moroccan authorities.” Source: The French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs
